Why Surveys
Companies have been conducing research since the beginning to see what customers want, what their pain points are, what they think of new products, and more. These days, you don’t have to participate in a survey in person or over the phone, you can do it on your computer or iPhone through a website!
There are a lot of different places that say you can earn money for surveys but Pinecone Research is the one that I prefer out of all of the others I’ve tried.
With Pinecone Research, they match you to surveys that are a fit for you and for each completed survey, you get points which equate to $3 each survey.
Other survey companies I’ve worked with vary in their payouts from under $1 each survey which just isn’t worth my time. What I like about this is I know what they pay out per survey so I know it’s worth my time since I can just sit there and take the surveys on my phone.
How it Works
All you do is sign up, enter in the information it requires, then Pinecone Research will send you an email when they have a survey that is a good fit for you!
Below is the image I see when I sign into my account on my phone. There are some surveys that I haven’t quite completed, though typically I do complete them in one sitting. It also shows the last time I completed a survey and that I got 300 points for it which equates to $3.
You can also see that I have 1600 reward points right now which equates to $16.
I clicked into one of my new surveys and the screen told me the number to keep in mind (I’ve honestly never written this number down or kept track, I’ve always just noticed that when I complete a survey I get an email telling me the points are in my account a few days later).
I’m not allowed to post pictures of the actual surveys but the one I’m completing asked me questions about myself, what type of make up I wear (rarely any at all) and started showing me photos of a new product that I may want to buy in the future.
It’s all confidential so I can’t tell you more than that but I think it’s so neat to be able to participate in product research and get paid for it. As you can tell, I like to share my opinion on things 😉
Payouts
I started taking surveys through Pinecone Research four years ago and have earned $150.
I realize, that’s not a whole lot but each survey is pretty quick and I’ve gotten some product samples during that time as well!
I figure these days, every little bit helps and I like that the surveys have a consistent payout of $3 each and I can do them on my phone or iPad when I’m watching TV or eating lunch.
