Echo Dot Smart Speaker
An Echo Dot is so compact you can take it with you or have it in one spot. We used to have our Echo Dot outside in the garage to play music when we were outside which was SO fun! Now we have it in our 5-year-old’s room so he can listen to music when he’s doing quiet time. Seems counterproductive, I get it, but it works.
One of the really awesome things about the Echo Dot is there is a kids setting so for our 5-year-old we have the kids setting on and he’s able to sit there and ask it questions. He often asks it “what’s 5 + 28?” and things like that. It’s really sweet. He also listens to “kids news” on it that he looks forward to everyday.

Eufy Security Cams
In the past I’ve touted how much I love Wyze cams but I have to admit, I’ve changed my tune. I won’t go into why here BUT I want to share my newest recommendation, Eufy cameras.
They are great quality, not super expensive, and stay connected.
One of the issues I have with Wyze right now is they keep disconnecting randomly and not recording or alerting me which is very frustrating.
The Eufy camera we have is even able to detect when there is a pet so I can keep track of what my cat is up to when we’re not around 🙂 They also have some amazing home security options without a monthly fee, whereas Wyze cams do have a monthly fee for home security.
